Revolutionizing the external ultrasound space with an innovative, compact, and powerful AI-enhanced technology made Butterfly a perfect match for our Discommon approach. We envisioned a suite of practical, yet downright sexy accessories (as well as their upcoming ultrasound device).

We burst into the medical industry in our usual style, relying on creativity and tenacity to not only design, BUT ALSO  DEVELOP AND SUPPLY a mil-spec protective case capable of shock absorption, water and dust resistance, and even a cleanable interior, all without the external ribs and molding features typically seen on similar hard cases.

A design is but pretty pictures until the first piece is produced. We managed all prototyping and design engineering, selected from our manufacturing partners, and even oversaw development on the factory floor in China. Throughout this, we didn’t compromise - navigating a complex 18 tool assembly and wall thickness that pushed injection molding limits, while ultimately maintaining sleek lines throughout. This project is wrapped up in packaging we manufacture and logistics we manage.
